Staying safe at Nellim Wilderness Hotels & Safaris

At Nellim Wilderness Hotels & Safaris, the wellbeing of our guests, visitors, and the team is our main priority. Therefore, we have made precautionary measures based on guidelines from our local health authorities to ensure that you feel safe during the whole visit.

WHAT WE DO:

THE TEAM – is all trained in hygiene protocols that prevent the spread of infectious diseases, and make you feel safe. Every colleague is required to stay home if feeling unwell.

SOCIAL DISTANCING – We make sure to keep a safe distance between guests and the team.

LIMITED NUMBER OF PERSONS – We follow the restrictions and guidelines from the local authorities.

CLEAN SURFACES – We clean and disinfect surfaces frequently throughout the day with special attention to high-touch areas.

CLEAN HANDS – We have set up hand alcohol stations in lobbies and restaurants.

TO ARRIVING GUESTS

TRANSPORTATION – Our drivers will pick you up from the airport with a disinfected vehicle. If you are in a joint transportation, we kindly ask you to wear a face mask until you get into your accommodation.

GUIDELINES – When arriving at our hotels, we inform you the safety procedures, and guidelines to follow these and keep safe.

CASH FREE – We offer cash-free methods of payments in the restaurant, bar, and reception.

LOOK FOR ANY SIGNS – If you show any signs of COVID-19 infection, please do not enter the hotel. We will help direct to a doctor to get tested.

THE ROOMS
CLEANING – We have enhanced the daily cleaning in all our accommodation. We use disinfectant detergents and make sure to pay extra attention to high-touch items.

THE RESTAURANT

BREAKFAST – Our tasty breakfast is just as you know it.

RESTAURANTS – Our restaurant are open and warmly welcoming you in. We follow Finnish health authorities’ advices regarding restaurant services.

THE SAFARIS
CLOTHING – Balaclavas, helmet visors and shoes are washed / desinfected after each guest. Each guest uses always same gear during the whole stay.  We recommend that you take your own under gloves with you. If possible you can also have your own winter clothing with you.

GUIDES – We have trained our guides to follow hygiene protocols carefully. They wash and sanitize hands after every encounter.

OUTDOOR LUNCH – We use ecological paperware for dining during activities. There is also hand-sanitizer available for your use.

SNOWMOBILE SLEIGH RIDES – Every guest wears a clean balaclava which is to be used in front of the mouth. Every guest wears also a helmet with a visor. Only members from same family/travel party will be travelling next to each other’s.

SNOMOBILING – Only members from same family/travel party will be sharing a snowmobile.
